taste-skill
by Leonxlnx
Taste Skill is an add-on for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. It guides the agent to design more distinctive websites and app screens by choosing an art direction, using credited real photographs and checking its own work in a real browser.

What you can do with it
- Have a coding agent build a landing page from a single brief, with a chosen design direction
- Build dashboards and app screens that follow set rules for layout, charts and tables
- Audit and improve an existing page, with the agent checking screenshots at three screen widths
Make money with it
A freelancer could offer fast, custom-looking landing pages and small websites to clients, using the skill to cut design time.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Produce a polished marketing site or landing page for your own business without hiring a designer
- Deliver faster website builds for clients as a freelancer, with less manual design rework
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Install it with one npx command (npx skills add), or as a Claude Code or Codex plugin; it needs Node 22+ and Chrome, Edge or Chromium.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Needs an AI coding agent, which usually means a paid subscription or API usage
- A build takes about 30 to 45 minutes and a few hundred thousand tokens, so costs can add up
- Pictures come from open collections with differing licences (such as CC BY), so credits must be kept or the images replaced
- Several older skills have moved to other repositories
