graphify
by Graphify-Labs
Graphify turns a codebase, along with its documents, PDFs, SQL schemas and configuration files, into a graph of connected concepts that you can search and question. It works as a /graphify command inside AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Gemini CLI, so they can look things up in the graph instead of reading every file.

What you can do with it
- Map a whole project into an interactive graph you can open in a browser and click through
- Ask plain-language questions about the code, or trace how two parts connect, using the saved graph
- Get a report of the most-connected parts, the main subsystems and suggested questions to explore
Make money with it
A freelance developer could offer codebase audits or handover documentation for clients, using the graph and its report to understand and explain a system quickly.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Get new freelancers or contractors up to speed on a client's existing codebase faster, cutting unbilled learning time
- Reduce the amount of code an AI assistant has to read per question, which can lower token costs on paid AI plans
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Install it with uv or pipx (needs Python 3.10 or later), run graphify install to register it with your AI assistant, then type /graphify . in the assistant.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Code parsing is local, but documents, PDFs, images and video need an AI model or API key, which may cost money and send content to a third party
- The README promotes a paid cloud product, Graphify Cloud, alongside the free tool
- Needs a supported AI coding assistant to be useful
