Lampline
by C4rohan
Lampline is a self-hosted tool for building, testing and running AI phone agents on your own computer or servers. It can import agents from Google's Dialogflow CX and CX Agent Studio, and it can test any phone agent by ringing it with an AI caller.

What you can do with it
- Build a phone agent in a drag-and-drop builder that mixes AI steps with scripted pages
- Import an existing Dialogflow CX or CX Agent Studio agent, edit it and export it back
- Test any phone agent with an AI caller that grades each call against your checks
Could replace
- Vapi
Our suggestion based on what it does, not a feature-by-feature comparison.
Ways a business could use it
- Run an automated phone receptionist or support line for a few pence per call instead of paying a hosted contact-centre platform's per-call rate
- Offer a phone-agent testing service to clients, or check your own IVR or voice agent for faults before customers meet them
Can you use it commercially?

Getting it running
Clone the repository and run a script (scripts/docker-up.sh --free) with Docker Compose v2; the free mode downloads about 3 GB of local models on first start.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Free local mode uses a small model (Qwen3 4B), so replies are slower and simpler than cloud models
- Real phone calls need your own Twilio, Telnyx or SIP trunk account, and cloud models need paid API keys
- Free test calls rely on Google Voice and a browser extension, and you must press Call yourself
- Google Cloud deployment and some PBX integrations (Genesys, Avaya, Cisco) are not yet available
- Only test phone agents you own or have permission to call
